Overview

Lumissi is a London based fine jewellery brand operating in the contemporary luxury segment. I led the full brand identity design in 2025, shaping the visual language, logo system, colour palette, packaging, and digital expressions to support premium positioning and future scale.

Context

The fine jewellery market is crowded with heritage driven brands and minimal DTC labels. Audiences expect craftsmanship, trust, and emotional value, expressed through restrained luxury aesthetics, elevated photography, and cohesive digital presence across ecommerce and social platforms.

The Problem

Lumissi lacked a distinct visual identity to stand out in the premium jewellery space. The brand needed clarity, memorability, and a recognisable system that could communicate luxury without relying on legacy cues or excessive ornamentation.

Objective

The goal was to create a timeless yet contemporary identity that felt confident, refined, and globally relevant. Success meant building instant recognition, emotional appeal, and flexibility across packaging, campaigns, and digital commerce touchpoints.

Design Strategy

Brand Idea

Lumissi is built around quiet radiance. The identity draws from light, symmetry, and precision, translating jewellery craftsmanship into a visual language that feels elegant, deliberate, and modern without appearing cold or inaccessible.

Logo System

The logo is a custom geometric mark inspired by light refraction and gemstone symmetry. Its construction allows consistent scaling, colour variation, and animation, working equally well as a stamp, emblem, or motion asset across brand applications.


Visual Identity System

A restrained colour palette balances deep greens, soft mints, and rich reds with neutral tones. Typography is clean and confident, while patterns echo the logo geometry, ensuring a cohesive, scalable system across print, packaging, and digital formats.


Social And Digital Presence

The identity translates into high contrast social content, editorial product imagery, and a refined ecommerce interface. Layouts prioritise focus on craftsmanship, with consistent spacing, framing, and tone to drive recognition and engagement.


Impact and Learnings

This project reinforced the value of restraint in luxury branding. By aligning strategy, symbolism, and execution, Lumissi gained a flexible system that elevates perception, supports commercial goals, and remains adaptable as the brand scales globally.
